Excerpt: In honor of the Evidence Based Practice I course, the following document encompasses a literature appraisal of supporting evidence regarding the correlation between postpartum depression and vitamin D levels. Articles of influence were evaluated and supported this correlation. This evidence is applicable to material medicine as it can enhance the screening and prevention process for postpartum depression, especially targeting those who are at higher risk.
